This is the only way to guarantee that you receive your dreads within a certain date. Your dreads are shipped out within 3 business weeks from the receipt of payment.
Normally I do dreads in my free time, in evenings after I go to my full-time job. There are only a few hours each day to do this - that's why dreads take a minimum of 2 weeks and I can only do 1 pair every 2 weeks. I cannot really alter my queue too much or everything down the line is a complete disaster, with people not knowing why their order is late. I try to be as nice as possible, but the fact is that people do not usually leave nearly enough time for the custom orders that they want to get done, and are not very polite to me when I tell them so. So if the fee seems a little pricey, I have only one suggestion - PLAN AHEAD!
Why so much? In my normal scheduling, I allow for some emergencies or things that generally come up. This fee is for working extra-hard and using up all that emergency time to get not only the regular queue orders done, but your rush one as well. Essentially, I don't get to go to the club, see that hot new movie or even go out to dinner with my boyfriend...I'm just your own personal dread-monkey. Or, I do ocassionally use this fee to pay one of my back-up dreaders to make them for you, but only in absolute emergencies.
